A Gonad is the Nomad's affectionate term for a duck. (Which is getting out for 0 runs). The Trophy is awarded annually to the player who accumulates the most Gonads throughout the season. In the event of a tie it is awarded to the player with the least number of runs.
21/9/03 - Dave Forster picked up his first ever Gonad in the defeat at Blythe Bridge. Snapper celebrated his Gonad victory with a highest score of the season, 19, in a stand of 64 with Mal Pinfield. 14/9/03 - There were no gonads in the defeat against Highcroft. 6/9/03 - There were no gonads in the draw against Sutton on the Hill. 31/8 - There were no gonads in the defeats against Matlock and Sunseekers. 10/8 - Akin picked up the only Gonad in the win against Church Eaton. 2/8 - There were no Gonads in the win against Wall. 27/7 - Pete Blackburn, Graham Coleman and Fuzz Weir all picked up Gonads in the defeat against Barton. 19/7 - Mal Pinfield picked up a Gonad in the win against Beaudesert. 13/7 - There were no Gonads in the win against Woore. 6/7 - There was a Gonad each for John Hoddy and Fuzz Weir in the win against Bugbrooke to take them to two Gonads each. 29/6 - Phil Higginson picked up the only Gonad (first ball) in the tie against Walsall Health. Phil joins Graham Coleman on two Gonads with Pete Blackburn on three Gonads. (There were four for the opposition) 22/6 - There were no Gonads in the win against WT Parker. 14/6 - There were five Gonads in the defeat against Beaudesert. 8/6 - There were no Gonads in the defeat against Walsall Heath. 1/6 - There were no Gonads in the win at Church Eaton. 25/5 - Pete Blackburn picked up his second Gonad of the season, Heslington collected his first, in the defeat against Essington and Great Wyrley. 18/5 - Pete Blackburn picked up his first Gonad away at WT Parker. 11/5 - There were 3 Gonads in the defeat against Cannock Wood. Hoddy, Higginson and Fearon. 04/5 - Fuzz Weir Collected his first Gonad of the season with a first baller against Friary Grange. 27/4 - Graham picked up the first Gonad of the season against Olton.. There were no Gonads in either the win against Cannock Wood or the opening defeat away at Swynnerton Park C.C. 22nd September 2003 |
